Critical Care

The Critical Care Department provides round the clock comprehensive care and life support services to patients who are critically ill and require intensive monitoring by team of highly qualified, skilled and experienced intensivists and nurses. The patients with dysfunction or failure of one or more organ systems, like cardiac, pulmonary, neurology, liver and kidney, amongst others are admitted to a Critical Care Unit (CCU). The plan of care for the patient is prepared in consensus with the admitting specialist, the patient and the family. Periodic multi-disciplinary briefings on a patient's condition are provided to his/her family.
